Just wanted to touch base to let you know that the boys are doing extremely well!  It took about a week and a half of "quarantine" in our bedroom before the dog was willing to accept them. We kept the door closed, with a baby gate, to avoid any possible escape or potential raid by the dog! Now - they love each other. Our older cat is having a harder time. He tolerates them and although he's not mean, they get the picture. They don't bother him, and he doesn't bother them.

They've definitely got two totally different personalities. Digger is VERY outgoing, and more of a dare devil than his brother. He loves going in the sink and trying to scavenge for scraps. He cries by the door to go out - to no avail! His brother on the other hand has a tendency to be slightly more reserved. He's harder to find, and is much more needy. He cries to be held, and won't stop until we pick him up at which point he purrs so loudly I wouldn't be surprised if you could hear him at TJO!

We've attached a couple of pictures for you. Digger in the sink, Digger smelling the tulips, and the boys hanging out on the bed.

We came in looking and ended up with the two best cats in the world! There was no way we could ever let them get separated so they both had to come home.

Thanks - we love them dearly.

Hi to all of my friends at TJ O'Connor:
Just a quick note to let you know that Piper (Trixie) is doing wonderful.  It has been just about a year since we adopted her from TJ O'Connor and we just think she is the most wonderful little girl in the world.  Her new mommy spoils her very much.  Piper now has 4 sweaters, 3 beds and about 50 toys.  Piper gets along great with our cat and other dogs in our family.  She went for her first long drive to the Cape last Thanksgiving, she was the hit of the day.

We would like to say thank you very much to all at TJ O'Connor.

Sincerly,
Sally & Chris

Hello friends at Thomas J. O'Connor  =) I wanted to thank you for making it possible to adopt Nena (a.k.a. Taffy and Violet).  We've been having lots of fun exploring different parks and going for long walks, although we've been taking it easy since
she was spayed only a few days ago.   She's so smart
that potty training her only took 4 days, but then after the spaying, she's had a few accidents so we're starting again and she's doing really well.

She is such a ham and as perfect I could have ever imagined as my first puppy/dog.  I can't imagine life without her, she's just such a joy to have around.
Her favorites are hugs, learning new tricks, running at the park, and taking naps.  My initial concern with the cats was gone after 2 days when the cats figured out that if they stopped running, she'd stop
chasing... lol.   Now, she sleeps on the bed and one
of the cats sleeps either next to her or on the other side of the bed.  The older cat seems to need more time to warm up to her but I'm sure it won't take long.  Since she's still a puppy, the energy may be too much for a 13 year old cat but having an easy going personality is his best trait so I'll be looking forward to having them all nap together real soon.

I've attached a few pictures with her new sweater and loving her new home and bed.  Thank you so much again for helping me with the adoption process and answering all my questions about taking care of a dog.  You are all wonderful and a special staff.
God bless,
Yvonne
