Happy Endings

Hi Tessa & all,

Just wanted to send a quick note to let you all know that Penelope (Penny) is doing great in our home.  She is a very sweet girl.  My main concern was how she was going to be with the cats, and she is totally uninterested in them.  Poor thing though the kitties have been stalking her.  She is adjusting well with our 4 yr old who is crazy about her.  She has been sleeping with us, and she seems to be house broken. We will keep you posted.  I have attached a few photos.

Sincerely,
Kate

We just wanted to let you know how Lola's first night home was. She was wonderful and just perfect with our daughter, Olivia.  We couldn't have asked for a better dog!!  Thank you guys so much with all your help (Tessa.) You were wonderful!  Thanks for everything!!

Julie

Hi everyone.  My new parents adopted me just about two months ago.  My name at the shelter was Thelma. My parents have since named me Hayley and I am responding to it very well.  I spend my days playing with my stuffed "babies" and sleeping on my luxurious doggy bed and blanket my mommy made me.  I can't wait for my parents to get home in the afternoon so I can run around the yard and house with them.  Even though I'm believed to be two, I'm just learning "sit" and "lay down."  I've picked up "sit" pretty quickly, but "lay down" is much harder.

On the weekends my new mommy and daddy take me to the Northampton doggy park so I can run around with the other doggies.  We like to play "tag."  I'm usually IT.

I love my new home.  Sometimes they let me sleep with them in their bed!  I keep them nice and warm.  I occasionally think I'm a lapdog and they don't mind!

To all of those at Thomas J. O'Connor--thanks for looking out for me and caring for me until my new parents adopted me.  I'm happy in my new home and I'm adjusting well.

(Hayley is an awesome addition to our family.  Thanks so much to you all at TJOC!)

Jessica and Patrick
