Want to make a difference in the lives of animals?

Volunteers are very important to us at TJO!

At the T.J.O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center, we rely on our volunteers to help us with many of the tasks that need to be performed daily. We offer many opportunities for people to make a difference in the lives of our homeless animals. Volunteer positions range from animal caretakers to office help to providing foster care. Check here for a description of some of our volunteer opportunities.

Who can be a TJO Volunteer?

Anyone 18 years or older, who has a desire to make a difference in the lives of animals and people. To work with animals at TJO, volunteers must meet specific cognitive and physical requirements to safely perform volunteer tasks. Check our Volunteer FAQ's for more information
