Baby is a three years old Pit x that has been at our shelter for far too long. She came in to TJO as a stray the first week of November and has been with us ever since. This may be because Baby needs to spend time with you before she will show you all of her good qualities. She works well with our volunteers who she knows and would due well in a home once she knows the routine. Baby would do best in a structured home where the rules are clear. She is looking for a patient active family that enjoys taking long walks and hiking. Her favorite past time here is playing with her toys especially the Frisbee! She has already mastered some basic commands and is eager to learn more!

Baby has been friendly with the dogs she has met at the park and shelter. She would be happy to go home with either a human (teenager +) or doggie sibling. We do not think she would be a good match with cats. To help Baby succeed in her new home and become your new best bud we recommend that Baby goes through training classes with her new family. They will help Baby learn some new skills and also help to establish a strong bond through consistent leadership.
